Cañizares gave a solo concert in Gibraltar. The event was celebrated in The Convent Ballroom, a historical building built in the 16^th century.

The concert was a great success. The repertoire was a wonderful mix of flamenco music by Cañizares and pieces of Spanish music arranged for guitar by Cañizares.

Cañizares has plans to perform again in this same concert cycle alongside his Cañizares Flamenco Quartet.
