Cañizares has collaborated with the Taipei Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Master Josep Pons. They performed the Concierto de Aranjuez. Cañizares has played in Taiwan several times previously, but this was his first time with this orchestra.

The concert took place in one of Taiwan’s largest concert halls. As the photograph shows, the National Music Theatre is a majestic building.

Cañizares and master Josep Pons have worked together many times, so the rehearsals went very smoothly.

After the concert, maestro Pons and Cañizares went to meet the audience, signing autographs and posing for photographs.
This time, all of Cañizares’s CD’s were sold out.
